Mount Vinson

... is the highest part of the Vinson Massif, which lies within the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. The Massif is 13 miles long and 8 miles wide. According to Wikipedia, Mount Vinson and Vinson Massif were "declared ... to be separate entities" in 2006, by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (ACAN or US–ACAN) – "an advisory committee of the United States Board on Geographic Names, responsible for recommending commemorative names for features in Antarctica."
